“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7
Everything we have is from God — and we’re invited to manage it well. Stewardship isn’t about giving God a tip; it’s about living with open hands, trusting Him with our finances, time, and gifts.
We don’t give to earn God’s favor — we give because we already have it. When we understand the generosity of God toward us, we’re freed to live generously. We reflect our Father when we give joyfully and sacrificially.
We’re called to steward not just our finances, but our time, talents, relationships, and even our calling. Stewardship is faithful living — treating all we have as a trust from God and investing it wisely.
Ask the Holy Spirit:
Father, thank You for providing everything I need. I open my hands and my heart to You. Help me to be generous like You, and faithful in all You’ve entrusted to me. I want to honor You with my finances, my time, and my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
What does generosity look like in your life right now? Is there a step of faith or stewardship that God is leading you to take?
